I was feeling kind of crafty today and I wasn't really in the mood to start any new sewing projects, so I decided to fix up a frame I have had for almost two years.
Since our one year anniversary is coming up in August I decided to be nostalgic and put together a little wedding collage.

I got the frame from a thrift store for 39 cents. I painted it white and then dry brushed brown over that. Actually, I couldn't find a single paintbrush in the entire apartment, so I used and old makeup brush that comes in those little compacts of blush. Not exactly ideal but it did the trick. I used some fabric from our wedding quilt (which I will start soon...don't judge me) and stretched it across the back of the frame. I couldn't fit everything I wanted to in the frame, but there is one of our handmade invitations, a picture from the wedding day, John's
boutonniere, and an engagement picture.

I like the way it turned out. I even hung it on the wall by myself! I love projects you can do in one day. They are so satisfying!
